new to arowana need some advice

so i have had my silver aro for 3 days now and i cant seem to get him to eat... i have tried sun dried shrimp fresh shrimp from supermarket, flake, crickets, and pellets any advice on what i could do to get the guy to eat thanks for your time =]

Got him straight from my lfs and they just got there shipment in that day

It is still stress.. Just be patient

Well, call your LFS and ask what their suppliers feed. Always ask what your newly-purchased fish are eating.

So should I just wait to move him until he eats or just move him and get all the stressful events out of the way

There would be less traffic in the tank he's going in maybe it would be less stressful in the long run?

Is there any other foods that might entice him to eat?

So the lfs said they were all on crickets and he said turn heat. Up to 85 so guess I'll move home and try it

He's stressed out to the max. He went from the supplier to a lfs to your tank all in a matter of hours. I would just relax and let him settle in for a day or two longer.
