New to Dats could use advice

how about Dats being finicky eaters?

the first night I got em they ate frozen brine shrimp np then next day they didn't want it . so a day later I give em bloodworms and they love it for two days well today i tried forzen krill they wanted no part so i threw more bloodworms in there and they only picked at em.

Maybe I'm feeding too much? would once a day be enough ? thats what I usually feed all my cichlids.

I normally just give my dats a piece of fish fillet a day. Cut it to around a inch long and around 1/4 inch wide. They should love it. Bloodworm's are too much of a mess for me and this keeps things a little cleaner.

Once a day is ok.

I will skip 1 or 2 days a week on my tanks to help keep the bioload down, and skipping a day here and there will also make them more inclined to accept what you feed them the following day.

i use to comm of 5 12-15" st in a 422 tank and i must say that its a challange to keep the bio load down
