ST - Dat Pulcher -Widebar
IT - Dat Microlepsis - Indo Dat
NTT - N. Thai Tiger - Thin Bar
NGT- New Guinea Tiger - Mean ******es...
ST - Silver Tiger - American Tiger
chances are if they are black all the time they may color up as soon as you put them in your tank or may stay black all the time for life each tiger is diffrent
as for mixing them with larger rays you shouldnt have any problems rays dont like the feel of the shape dorsal fin the rays may jump on them for the 1st few days but then leave them alone
if the tigers are below 12inch they wont be ST thats for sure
Thanks for the info. But if they are below 12" could they not just be young ST's ?
I will go back to the shop next week and try to get a pic. It seems a realy awkward situation. I don't want to spend 75 quid on 3 fish that may never colour up !!

if they were ST chances are they would be more stable and have nice color
they will not be ST if smaller than 10inch ST are near extinct all the true ST hear in the UK have been around for years and just pass from new owner to new owner
for the size and price they will be one of 3 tigers Thin bars, indo tigers which are very close to ST but are black or washed out most of the time or AT silver tigers which do better in brackish water
