Both 9.9 and Take5 don't show parents of the fish. Some breeders do and some don't. Take5 only sell selective high quality kamfa. They don't sell the low end fish. 9.9 kamfa is almost always unavailable to purchase. Once it's posted, immediately someone always buy it asap.

Take5 has better coloring in my option then 9.9. But pearling and tail goes to 9.9. Amg is overprice right now. At one point Vietnam has some of the best fh, but I think Thai are doing a better job of breeding a well balanced fish at a more reasonable price. I’m into classic, so I don’t care for pearling much, I like big tail, kok, square body and short mouth like the old fortune fish.
 
Take5 farm is from the maker of CZ so his new sets of kamfa speaks for his name. I doubt his gonna ruin his name for a bad quality kamfa. I have 2 of them and minor grooming the flowerhorn shines already.

For the 9.9 tho, a lot of them is using 9.9 as a base maker for there flowerhorn. I recently got 3 9.9 and 2 are hard kok but amazing pearls and colors.

This east coast competition you guys should come and check the flowerhorns. You will see the 9.9 and take5 in there and be the judge to urself.
 
Julie is the reputable seller for 9.9 but always ask if u can, for the parents.
 
yeah I asked for the take5 ones but as was mentioned previously they don't have photos of the parents. I think i'm going to get the one most recently posted. trying to get some filter water from a friend to seed my tank quicker.

Just be patience and let the tank cycle by itself. You don't know what disease your friend tank carry. It's not the end of the world for kamfa. You could wait for better one in the future.
