New to fish got a couple questions

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah just feed him pellets and starve him for a couple days until he starts to eat them again, like previously said jags are really hard to get off of live foods and live foods do up the aggression level with already aggressive fish. you can do the guppy thing if you want, but like i said im just too lazy for this especially when some insects or frozen foods can have even more nutritional value and dont need a whole extra tank set-up

A 100% guppy diet will not be healthy enough for him. He needs that staple diet of pellets whether he likes it or not. He will eventually try them if you starve him for a few days. I've had that happen with so many fish. They eventually give in, and a few days without food won't cause any harm.

so this may be a stupid question but would breeding ghost shrimp be the same as guppies just give them lots of cover and concealment?
