mine eat egg, earthworm, spirulina, growth, color and cichlid pellets all mixed into one from kensfish.com. with shipping, i paid under $30 for 2 pounds of food, compared to only a few ounces for $20 of grand sumo
you'll get the same results and your fish will be equally as happy eating a giant variety of decent foods, over one high priced specialty foods.
i was going to feed the grand sumo as well to my FH, but decided against it after a bunch of thought
already thinking about crossing my male trimac with some thing not sure what though. but i like the way they look.here is a pic of the trimac in question, what do you think i should do.
When u cross pure cichlids with Flowerhorns you are taking a step backwards. If all u r looking for is some breeding experience then go for it but dont expect anything other then ugly fish... Maybe go out and look for a lil woman FH for your male...
no i was gona cross him to say a salvini or texas cichlid. both these fish being male would be a hard cross. so would some thing cool come out of say this cross or not worth the time. as far as breeding gos i have a fare bit of exspearince as i have breed a list of cichlids since the age of 12 on and off this was just an idea to experamint.
