no i was gona cross him to say a salvini or texas cichlid. both these fish being male would be a hard cross. so would some thing cool come out of say this cross or not worth the time. as far as breeding gos i have a fare bit of exspearince as i have breed a list of cichlids since the age of 12 on and off this was just an idea to experamint.

I just wouldnt cross this fish to a pure species... I would try and find a female with features the male is lacking and breed those...

The point is it would be a waste of time, even a low grade FH will look much better than any fry you will get from crossing a Trimac and Sal, or texas for that matter. find a female FH with a flowerline and some nice color, but ultimatly even then you are just going to have low low grade FH.
