Understand totally. What I am trying to accertain is not the legality of the fish but to get some idea of the quality of the fish and we can do so by finding out the origin of the fish/farm. Also some certs do state the type of Aro and perhaps if it does not turn out to be what is stated then there could be some recourse.
I have seen Aros with certs passed off as what there are not. There are also now a abundance of Aros with no chips and there is likely some people with access to chips abusing this. I am not implying the OP's fish is such, merely sharing info. I understand some of you guys out there pay a lot of money and go through considerable difficulty getting Asian Aros and as such would like to not see people getting short changed.
