does she ever display her bio-luminescense at night???
Not that I have ever seen.
I got her from a very high quality little fish store called Aquatic Environments in Davenport. Small store, but very nice, well taken care of and clean, with more emphasis on Salt Water than fresh. Of course I have been going there for years, have even become pretty good friends with one of the employees, and its the only I have seen them get. I would probably by another if they got one it.

Ya she has a big burrow under some live rock she goes in and out of. In fact I can hear her chipping away right now. I will have to try that with the live fish and let you know if it works.

And thanks for the greeting Kuda.

Thats cool
My size estimates came from Dr Roy Caldwell, the mantis expert from reef central, he identified it as a female Odontodactylus scyllarus(Peacock) and said it would get between 6-7 inches. But if she got a foot, that would be even cooler! I have and empty 55 I could set up just for the mantis.
