POOLFILTER SAND!!!!
Dont have to clean it near as much (to begin with) and looks great. It works well for plants for me

There are tons of good websites out there for all those things. My favorite for a little of everything at decent prices in my opinion is www.petsolutions.com There are a lot of others though like liveaquaria.com and millions others just search.
