new to keeping red bellys ( advice?)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you can get 10 if you want, oviously nobody here can stop you we cna just guide you in the reight direction, but if you get 10 in the end you will be left with no more then 2 or 3, and piranhas are not cheap, not only will there only be at most 3 but they will be very beaten up and stressed

In a 55 if you went with 2 aquaclear 110's that would be awesome, but 1 aquaclear 110 and one penguin 350 or even 250 would also do, then your gonna need a heater, i would say around 100-200 watts, not a big price difference anyway, and thats basically all you need, then just decorations and substrate and your ready to go

well ive just got rid ov 10 9" reds and they were all in a 100g so i would strongly advise against 10 in a 55 lol they are very dirty fish and cause alot ov mess so beware and be prepared. Unless you want to waste money by putting 10 in a 55 then by all means go ahead but imo you gonna havee bloodshed in a week or so, good luck on your decision

That sounds perfect, and based on my experience with them they are not messy at all, but that is probably becasue I do a 10 percent water change every single day, good luck, keep us posted
