i started planning for my loaches like a year ago... ive got a whole 60 gallon just for rams horn and pond snails... it took a lil while for them to figure out they could eat them insted of just playing with them but now they LOVE them...
also... they click.. sounds just like a heater tapping against the glass... i could not get my acrylic tank set up fast enough..
do your best to get rid of lil places for them to get stuck.. ive lost 2 due to driftwood holes that were big enough to get into but did not have room to let them turn around to get out... they dont swim backwards all that well..
its also normal for them to sleep on their sides and even upside down... i dont like that either.. ive had a few drift around the bottom of the tank asleep..
tongs FV has them 5 for $20.. or did a week ago anyway..
