Is that floor concrete under the carpet? I would think our pushing 4000 pounds of weight on that floor?
Hence me moving to the ground floor and insisting I have concrete when I got my first 250. I actually had a 135, 75, 2 55's and some smaller tanks all on a 3rd level apartment for about a year. Then I filled the 250 and my dog ran across the room, making the floor vibrate. I moved that month. (Of course I emptied the 250 halfway right away.) I love this floor too, since all my tanks are perfectly level without me doing any work.
As for the lighting. He had it setup for 5 different types of bulbs. All different timers. It is awesome to play with though for shere look I like them all on. (I also only have it on when I am in the room... Don't want my electricity bill to go too much higher.) As for p-bass. Well I want my current fish to grow bigger first. (All but one in that tank should be large enough to live with a p-bass.) But I don't see me putting any in the tank for a while.
Here is a quick update:
I got home ~7:30... did work on the smaller tanks till 1. Basically the 240 is fully up and running. (I don't know if I will put an AC110 on it or not, I need more bio material though, I have a fully stuffed fx5 with all the bio material and more that I had in the 135.)
The 135 is now full too. Though only one of the two xp3 are running (took the bio material from the 50).
So now I have an empty 50 and I moved almost everything that was in the bathroom/kitchen. Hopefully tomorrow I can get more bio material move the couch and smaller tanks. (I have 3 empty AC110s, and 1 empty xp3.) I am eventually getting ride of two really old filters, but I actually have more good filters than I need for once... just not enough bio material... (Well I have a ton of bio balls, just want smaller stuff than that.)
See I have some room finally:
Ok maybe a little more work needs to be done...
