resealing is easy I did my 75 a few months back. Having to do a complete rebuild is a job. You need to know 2 things. Did the tank sit outside in the cold? If so a complete rebuild is a must. I had a 300 split a seam after it was stored in the cold. #2 look at the joints for bubbles, if the tank seams are not showing major bubbles you may be ok with just a reseal
As far as I know, no cold storage. Also, no terribly large bubbles in the joints. There were a lot in the seams. It's all cleaned out now. I'll post pics when I get home. Just ran out to HD and got a tube of GE silicone 1.

Some pics of the process and then a quick video of the finished product after about 12 hours of curing.

48 hours of water-tight testing, and I'm passing worth flying colors. I gotta say, it feels so good to have not royally screwed this up (so far). I let the silicone cure for 92 hours before filling.

I was a little nervous about doing it in the garage because it's pretty cold, but I wasn't willing to risk the carpet inside in case I failed and it leaked.

Here are pics... Notice the chunks of glass at the edge (picture with my finger). I didn't see these when I bought the tank. They must have happened during the transport. I don't think it's causing anything more than an eye sore. There are no cracks. Thoughts?
