New to MFK Need helpful opinions

I cant afford to quit But i dont like the treatment of fish at our sstore. I like the discount on supplys for my personal tanks and the meeting of other hobbyists in the area. South Dakota is kinda a rural place to be a fish keeper and not alot of options that dont involv spending a fortune on shipping. Like i said I change each systems water once a week and do a 30-70% depending how much gunk has built up.

also not allowed to use phos-sorb or any thing other then a sponge to scrub the sides of glass gravel vac python to add and remove water and freshwater salt and for sallt all i can do is scrub glass add or remove water and can only add marine salt by putting it into the sump we dont premix we dont have space so i was told it dosent make a diffrence to premix so dont worry about it

Ask for job description. Might find a claus that will let you do the right thing. If no description write one up and put that it is your job to properly care for fish based on Fish care guidelines. good luck with corporate America. Maybe keep track of lost revenue due to managements handling of fish and if given the opportunity you could improve by 30 to 50% just by keeping fish alive and well.
