I wanted to say hi to everyone and get suggestions from everyone on the right fish for my 75 gallon.I resuced a large dempsy, she's not agressive, and I wanted other fish with her,so far I have 1 jewel, and 1 red zebra, got rid of the flowerhorn,it killed 3 of mine so had I had to get rid of him before he killed the 3 I have left : ( ,any adive would be great. I'm still new to having cichilds.I hope to get know everyone here.

get rid of the africans and keep the jack dempsey. You could add a convict, or maybe some bichirs

youre really suggesting a JD female and a convict for a 75 gallon tank ? you can fit more than that in there.
and welcome to the forum!, its not your fault the flowerhorn killed your fish you were obviously given bad advice from your LFS. now that you are a part of this community you will get great ideas on what to do with your tank from other people on here. in fact if you write "75g" or "75 gal" etc into the search bar you will see all the threads with people asking questions or showing pictures so it will really give you an idea of what you can do with your tank.

once again welcome to the forum and if you have Android there is a App you can get for your phone to browse MFK.

So you would suggest he gets right in there and add some fish that may cause more aggression to a new member and new cichlid keeper. Start slow and add as you go...

Sorry aquamonster, I completely missed out the "new thing" I just thought 75 gallon and stocking options.

he´s right its best to keep it slow because you are new, you could try a severum, they are very relaxed fish and if your dempsey is as chilled out as you say then I don´t think it would be a problem

Severum would be a good addition. This is another option, try to find another female cichlid like, a midas, red devil or something. Ive seen many lesbo tanks that are awesome

I would get a male JD an a school of silver dollars. A female RD or Midas will kill the JD most likely.

I would also get a male, but i would also add about 8 Congo tetras, there is nothing like cichlids breeding, you will Ned to get rid of the Africans though, sorry

I was told the only african was the red zebra, this from a guy who breeds differnt cichilds in Daytona.I just want to do whats right for them, and once I get some experince maybe breed the dempsy
