Let's start with, how large is your current female? This might make a difference in what you need. Female JD's normally max out at about 8 inches and have a concentration of blue on their gill plate. A picture might also be helpful. But you are going to need to find a male that is about her size...or better might be two or three males if she is not too big. That way she ends up with a male that is a stronger bond for here and you will be better off long term.
