So im a huge on africans for the most part but today i went to my lfs and to surprise they had a lone p bass at around 3-4 inches for 16.99 :WHOA:blew my freakin mind, i couldnt pass it up, ive actually wanted one for awhile.

So anyway what tank params, food, are best for this lil guy??? Also any advice is appreciated thanks...

Maybe some pics of your p bass set ups too if any of you are up to it

the lfs didnt know but i think its a Ocellaris, how big do they need to be to tell??

When it calms down take another pic. If it starts to have gold around the black on its sides its orino.

give him some time when he comes out take a ncie shot and share it with us then we could give u a clear cut answer for know im leanin with orino.

Kinda hard to tell.....better shots please. as of now...mono.

I'm thinking mono too but clearer shots once settled will help with the I.d.
Keep the temp at 87 degrees and the oxygen high.
Monos, ocells & orinos usually max at 24inches.
Do a little search at some of the older threads to up your knowledge on cichla and you'll be fine. There's a whole thread as well with everyone setups on it. Enjoy your new pbass :D
