Just saying HI to everyone! Have been reading the forums for a few days and decided to register.

I ordered some PB from my local retailer and he took a month to get them. Picked up two on Saturday and they are doing great. They are about 2" and very active and ate 20 or so rosy reds in about 36 hours.

I already love these fish! They are housed in a 45H for now, this summer I will be getting a 180 or 240 depending on what I think my floor will support (old house).

I have had some big fish in the past, 2 Snake Heads in a 300 gallon rubbermade tube, Redtail Cat that got 18 inches before I could find a store that would rescue me, and a small Managuense that would lay eggs until I put her with my buddies and she stopped (they swam and ate together but wouldn't lay any more?!?!)

oh well back to the PBs, I think they are Tems, I will post a video or some pics tonight after work

Looking forward to some monster fish!!!

Rubbermade TUB not Tube!!! :)

if there tem's youll be looking at upwards of 350 gallons monos should be fine in a 240

350 in 6 months or 350 for life?

how did you get snakeheads?

The local pet store sold them. This was years ago (15) before the movie Frankenfish!! :)

The first pair I got were the red tail variety, blacktop with a white line going down the sides, white belly and a red tail.

The second pair were red snakeheads, they were cool but didn't get as big before they died in a move.

welcome kuso.... cant wait to see your pea's...
BEST WISHES!!!

here they are, I'm trying to get video but my PC won't recognize my video camera now...
