The occelated black spots onthe dorsal fin. I have had lots of pairs of these guys - they are GREAT parents in my experience.

so im planning a plywood tank thats 48x48x31, about 310G. i'm wondering if i can mix pike cichlids. i want to get some more pikes, and some Pbass for the tank.
pbass sure, more pike, prob not. if you get another sveni you might be able to keep a pair if you get a male. keeping the pike with the rtc x tsn is only temp. 10" pike will get eaten by a 24" cat.
