Thanks for the reply. I thought it was a venz as well. Will this thing turn homicidal towards my other cichlids. Or will it just sort of chill and eat like a pig.
things should be ok. its very hit and miss with cichlids depending on what cichlids you have. what are you keeping them with? i had a jag scare my johannas into a corner but i have a sveni and lacustris that get along with a jd, convict, firemouths, and some dithers. you just gotta see how things go and take it from there.
The venz is housed with 1 jag 1 oscar 1 carpintis 1 JD 1 blackbelt 1 mayan 1 green terror 2 cons and 1 lima shovelnose.
Nice looking pike. We have had ours for a couple years now and hes really thick. Hes preety good with all the fish hes in with and if anyone wants to try and pick on him hell let them know exactly what hes made of. Then hes always left alone. Eats like a pig and still to this day loves to swim around and be noticed but come dark he just lies under his rock and chills till the next day and starts all over again.
