new to plants still need some help

it's pretty tall when you consider buying a canopy and using the bulbs it comes with. if you go PC then, no, it's not than tall.

searched the net the one 25 gal tall tank i found was 24 inch. and if your adding canopy thats the same height as my 120 gal. no problem with the light hitting the bottom.

i would stick a 55 or 65w over it and be done with it but that would need co2 and ferts. not everyone wants to do that. i would get some more lights but stick with low light plants to start with.

okay i am running co2

plant grow by nutrifin
and plant pro by kent thats all i am using so i should get a 65watts

25 gallon tanks are pretty short in general... Your ferts are decent, you should look at rexgrigg.com for better cheaper ferts.
