New to Rope Fish - help on set up

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
magpie magpie quick question, how often should I be feeding the rope tilapia or any food in general? i don't want to over feed her, but i don't want to under feed her either so she doesn't go after the piggies. she has so far been leaving them alone, although tonight she whipped 2 of them in the head to get them away from her pellets lol

I feed tilapia every 2-3 days and pellets daily, I feed the pellets daily because it lowers the aggression in my afer knifefish (named jacka$$). I would feed daily till the rope is 9-10" where they slow their growth then lower the frequency

I've never had a rope b4. If there's a half, or 1/4 inch diameter opening, or even smaller. Is it 100% likely they will find that opening sooner or later???? If so, that's hella stressful. Lol

it was stressful when I didn't have a tight fitting lid(I lost 2) but since I got the tight fitting lid the only thing to get out was my 7" ornate who hit the lid with such force she lifted the lid and ended up on top of it, luckily I was standing there

Not sure, and I never wanted to find out so.... seal it up and problem solved. Duct tape works for me. And it's real real classy like. ;)(Actually no one notices it.)
