Speaking of "Hardware Stores"..... I buy enzymes for septic tanks and add it on big water changes. It's all natural beneficial bacteria 3lbs for $10 bucks. Petsmart sells the same +|>~% for about $4 and it's a tablespoon. It looks like saw dust and eventually settles and filters. Can't really over do it either. I have several tanks, my small fish eat it totally harmless. Good luck with the rbp's that's a Hell of a starter tank!

Hey there, I have found a better suited tank, not quite sure the gallons of it yet, but the dimensions are 4FT long x 2.5FT Tall by roughly 18-24 Inches wide, and most sites that I have tried cacluating the Gallons of those dimensions is roughly 120-150 gallons, so roughly a 4ft length by 2.5ft tall, is that a good tank for Red Belly's and how many could I have in there (keeping in mind I am talking as Adults etc...)

I'd check the manufactuerer of this tank before buying it - Presto/Marineland 4x2's don't have tempered glass bottoms and they do crack
