i am aware they get to that size and am in search of a bigger tank already.. online ive seen the fish housed with a fresh water moray eel and am wondering if the moray would be at danger or ther other way around. i dont want to get a 100gal tank for a tiny fish only
i also know morays are brackish water fish but after doing much research ive recentyl found that in their natural lifestyles they live for years in freshwater and sometimes never return to the sea.. and what about plecos? i heard most fish dont eat them.. but i donno about biting chunks of them
my problem is still not solved
.. he doesnt seem to see the food i throw in.. he ate twice so far and ive had him for almost a week now.. he seemed to eat the carnivore pellets.. ive thrown in shrimp pellets but he hasnt touched it.. im assuming the carnivor pellets that sank to the bottom were all eventually ate by my 2 parrots and 2 severums as they are constantly pecking at them since the second they fall in
do you think he will start eating soon.. and i dont want to return him to the lfs because his tank was so small there and i felt bad and hes mine now
so i wanna make his home as good as posible.. maybe i would consider getting another one and and eel maybe once i get the new tank any day now
any idea on where to get another one or a "freshwater" moray eel assuming that my little guy will start eating soon
THANX FOR ALL YOU HELP
