this is my first tank other than a 10 gal.:nilly: .....so i am trying my best
i was very succesful with the smaller tanks.....and I hear big tanks are only easier.....so I hope what I hear is true:D

my tank will be setup by the end of this week....ill post pics

2 small tiger oscars
2 small electric blue dempseys
vampire pleco

i want a sting ray...but i read the smallets is like 13in.....so much for that:(
or maybe a couple angels......but i read that that pictus cats "annoy" angels since they are such elegant fish and the pictus are lunatics:grinno:

cant wait for my driftwood

thanks for all the feedback guys

oh...most important question......sand or gravel?

which do these fish preffer?

im scarred of the sand because someone posted that they scratched thier tank with sand because it got inbetween the glass mag glass cleaner and the glass....
i would flip!

Corys would prefer having soft sand to sift through rather than larger gravel. But all the fish you want will have gravel or sand. Depends on what YOU like pretty much. Small 2-3mm gravel works best. If you opt for gravel.

Are you sure it wasn't an acrylic tank? Glass tanks don't usually scratch that easy.

think im gonna go for sand......is it hard to keep clean?
im pretty sure a lot of sand will be sucked right up if I were to use one of those suction tubes....right?

im not certain if it was glass or acryic......i have to find that thread again

Acrylic scratches much easier than glass. To clean sand, just let the syhpon hover over the sand to pick up poo. It may take some practice, but its fairly easy.

Hover over Poo:werd: got it

thanks
anyone know if teacup rays will fit in my tank if i decide to not get corys?
