I started to dose a 20 gallon with a a few Anubias plants with leaf litter and driftwood. My question is dosing just the bottom of cap sufficient? I repeat the dose after a wc.

A capful is sufficient. Just need to see if u need more than once a week. Once the plants get bigger then more dosing during the week is needed.

Tbh I don't know. In another aquarium feed the Amazon Swords Fluval root tabs. Have Anubias in the aquarium as well but doing ok without any supplement. I've noticed the Anubias in the 20 long getting greener. Java Fern died quickly though.

For plants that can feed from the water column.

Maybe the fern weren’t grown submerged. Should grow back with time.
