NEW Toy : My 1st G-Shock

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a huge G-shock I bought off of a mate for a tenner that came in very handy when I was on the line on my 1st RAF squadron. Tough as nails they are.
When my mate first got it his dad came home from work, read the label/packaging and said "we'll see how tough". He proceeded to volley it against a brick wall with steel toe cap boots. It bounced, chipped the brick work but only took a little paint off of the bars that were across the face of the old G-Shocks.

Truely tough watches. i really want the silver more dressed up g-shock for going out but I can't justify £120 for a watch.

Very nice buy Neo.

impressive story I had no idea what was so special about it until I started reading the posts. I still think its a watch tho but atleast its a cool watch

They had a commercial using a G-shock as a hockey puck! I have one... Problem is I work at night, so the watch hardly expose to sunlight... Thus, it's dead!

Ive got a g shock, not that one, but would buy another any day.

Someone said they dont need a watch, I cant imagine having a cell on me all the time, and if your swimming, surfing or other sports, what do you do then. Anyways, besides the point, G shocks seem to hold up great.
