good old Iron sights! id much rather have the abilities of the M4 or even the M16A4 (acsesories, like pec 4's, lazer ect for close combat) but i prefere the iron sights over the Acog when it comes to 300, 500 and even 1000yrds.

I was buying up parts to build an AR for myself, I got as far as a LMT lower with a SOPMOD buttstock and a 2 stage trigger. A friend is thinking of selling his Armalite M15, so I ended up selling it to a guy I work with. In the long run, the armalite will cost me quite a bit less. If I buy it anyway.
I've also got my eye on a Dan Wesson Heritage 1911. I have yet to own a 1911 and figure it's about time.
