Awesome wet pet, he will become very interactive as he grows. Mine was very rough with a female that I raised together but that didn't help. He was in a 125 all by himself for several years.

If you want the yellow base color to pop provide with a light colored substrate. Dark substrate will make it go darker. This is truly a fish with great colors if well cared for.

thanks for the feedback. yeah the original owner said that this trimac killed two females he tried mating with and that was in a much larger tank than mine like a 200 gallon or something. so far he is already interactive. when i come into the room he comes to the glass and observes me.
