Got it from George @ Shark Aquarium. I know he helped Solomon bring in one of the first tropical gar imports, not sure if it's one of those or not. It's been there forever.

reGARding your comment, unless george picked it up as a trade-in, which is unlikely, that would be one of the first t-gars from the first order...so that fish is at least 5 years old (mature whether male or female at this point). nice fish for sure--

now that is an interesting statement!! now he needs it sexed and another sexually mature trop or even just a sexually mature gar of the oppisite sex

The two trops made fast friends, the little one (18") likes to stay just below the big one (23") and they generally patrol the tank together now.
