In the garage
I might be getting a truck soon as a daily driver, as my stealth is in the process of being rebuilt and upgraded to race on road-courses. :headbang2 I also have a side job cutting grass and cant haul anything in my car. Anyway, I have two choices.
1: 1998 Doge V10 magnum 2500 extended cab. The engine is locked up but I can get a new one for cheap and it shouldn't take very long to replace.
2: 1995 Chevy S10 extreme. The engine is also locked on this one, but I have a 350 small block to replace it. :naughty:

Get the Chevy since you already have a replacement engine.

BUMP :hitting:

If money is no issue to you, Get them both. If money is a problem, get the one that will cost you less money to fix.

I vote s10 just beacuse i love mine. The perfect truck IMHO easy to upgeade small and fast if you upgrade it right :)

They cost about the same, but the engine for the Magnum will be about $500 extra. I'm starting to lean towards the S10.

I wouldn't mess w/ the V10...they guzzle gas for not putting out that much power. The S10 will be faster, anyway w/ a SBC and cheaper to fix plus you already have the engine. However, having a full-size is nice. I have an 87 Chevy 4-speed longbed

9 to 4 so far for the S10. I also have a 460 big block I could use. :naughty:

I would go with the S10. Agreed with Pwmin about the the V10 being a gas hog. Never owned nor have I worked on a V10, I would think that parts for it would be kinda hard to find. ( I Don't know).
