wow, i didnt mean to make an "argument thread here"
i mean come on. i came on here asking for help and info and that is what i got.
i ask questions when i need help and give advice when i think i have some to give.
so lets leave this thing alone. ill post updates on what i decide for my lil girl. still reading and weighing all my options. im not ignorant and would not get something that could harm her or my son. and whatever i get it will be in a room that they cant get into unless i let them.

anyways, thanks again for the help and lets get along.

You didn't create an argument thread, it just that some people may see certain responses as problematic and bring it up. Any forum is like that. One person questions another poster, and the poster defends him or herself.

The original purpose of this thread is still being fulfilled anyway and the discussion between two and three individuals didn't really change the topic of the thread regarding your children. As long you get information you need, then everything is good to go.

well i am still leaning towards the african side neck. for some reason my daughter likes them. even after showing her some more colorful ones. so it might be one of those. i am setting up a tank now. i just got a heat lamp/uvb bulb and some rocks for a basking area. i will post some pics of it when i get it setup and see what you all think. still dont know for sure if ill get the african but she sure does like it. idk why, its plain brown but she is kinda simple too so maybe that is it.
