New turts in the pond!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There are two different places for them to climb out on some gravel. Plus they can climb up onto the hyacinth, it makes some pretty stable floating platforms when the roots grow together.

I only saw one of them this morning, but it was really active. These guys are crazy fast!

Also, I got the bejeebus scared out of me last night by a giant bullfrog. My dogs were going nuts in some bushes by the pond, so I went over with a flashlight to see what it was. I spent 10 minutes looking, and couldn't find anything. Then out of nowhere, this giant bullfrog leaps out of the bushes straight at me, bounces off my thigh, and flies on toward the pond. This thing was about half again bigger than my fist!

you need a tropical gar. my favorite species! i almost got one once.

If you think I wouldn't buy one in a minute (if I found one available and had the money to buy it) then you're crazy! Same with a cuban.

Nice turtles! I want to add some more to my pond also :)
