NEW UMBEE PAIR!

Just got this awesome pair Today from Jason (Freshwaterpredators), they are fry from the famous Wild Rio Magdalena Umbee "The General".

I didn't measure them yet but male must be around 5.5" and female is just a little smaller, maybe 5". He's been displaying for her all day moving sand and rocks and she's very receptive, looks like they've bonded really well. Can't wait to see this guy when he hits 12" or so.

Yes he looks awesome bro!!! I too had him over light colored substrate, imo their colors would stand out better with a darker substrate, but not that he isn't colored up already I am really happy they made it safely especially with the weather as cold as it is up here. Great pics, she will spawn for you very soon bro, I'd say within the next week or two.
