I forgot to mention your malawis will get to the food faster than your knives will, because knives usually eat at night. Only way you'll be able to feed your knife fish really is by live food, thats what I had to do. & if you feed them live food, they are more likely to try and eat your malawis thinking they are food

Thats another reason why they aren't good to keep with each other :\
 
gotchya also what the hell is going on this clown wont fight or do anything.... I mean he is getting chewed to bits by my smaller cichlids :( poor guy... he's going to my friend tommorow for sure, maybe tonight and then he will be with another clown knife and he wont have to worry about getting nipped :D
