Yeah, i experimented with ATF and peacock bass. It didn't work out either. The bass were way too aggressive feeders and didn't leave anything for anyone else.
I've had luck with a kelberi for about 8 months now. Didn't work out when I had azul. Might be worth experimenting a bit more before writing pbass off completely :)

I do not think he is thin either, but you can tell he didn't just have a big meal haha Max is looking great!!! Glad he went from 1 responsible fishkeeper to another

Yea I agree
But I'm not really a bass keeper per say
I really like ATF
and other fish that are not really aggressive when getting food.
I try to feed max twice a day but he's a little shy when it comes to getting the food he kinda waits for the other fishes to finish then he goes for it..
But he will get fatter hopefully

He was always the most aggressive feeder in my tank, but for the most part, he was the largest fish too. Funny how that works lol
