but they are more expensive..., and the water isnt exacly going to heat the room rather the room is going to heat or cool the tank, if money isnt a option then just get a glass sump or a pre made acrylic sump...

i can get a 40 gallon cooler for around $35. since im not setting up the tank for almost 2.5 weeks. im still open to ideas. i cant find a good deal on a sump i only have like $100 for every thing but the pumps as far as a sump goes.

this is a 40gallon storage tub,


i was going to use it for my filter intake bod on my pond but i figures that it wasnt going to stank up to the weather so i desided to use them for storage insted..., And for killing red brown algea with hydrogenperoxide... and it didnt distort once full, $10at home depot..., get another one that fits into it poke holes in the bottom of the top one and elevate it about 4-5" above the bottom one and plumb a drip tray to the top of the upper one, there you have it a $20 sump..., Not pretty but cheap.

then all you have to go is get a pump, i got a sweet 700gph pump from my lfs in a unboxed sale///
