These guys have been with me for less than two weeks now and you honestly would never have thought that they were wild caught.
The initial uncertainty and hiding in structure soon passed and all 10 are always out in the open now and constantly glass surfing.
They are insatiable. They are currently on a diet of compost worms, crickets and mealworms. The crickets are being gut loaded with my old tropical fish food so, in a way, my perch are getting nutrient from fish food without feeding it directly, which I doubt they'd take if I tried to feed directly anyway.
Below is a feeding video filmed from the top. I couldn't film from the front viewing window because of the glare from the outside window. These are mealworms and, as you can see, they are going down a treat!
