Mel another great video by you. I wanted to know where did you get your stock from. I am thinking of having just an Amphilophus tank. I have acquired some Hogoboomorums. I am looking for the more rare species. Since the Llonsi is on the endangered list I thought they would be w good choice and I had them before. I want to try and stay away from inbreeding. PM me if you have some contacts or suggestions.
 
Cool thanks...thats where I got mine...that kinda confirms with me that I have 3 females since they have the pink on the neck and the black on the top fin like yours. I need to get a male from him now....

Sorry about the loss on the 1k tank too.
 
There looking good Mel. Really nice colors on the Lyonsi, I thought I had seen a Umbriferum in another vidoe you did of that tank a while back. Sorry to hear about the 1000 gallon.

Yes i have another smaller male (about 14 inches ) in my 600 with the Red Devils. The big male was 23 inches ( measured size ) when he passed....

Hopefully the 5 Lyonsi I got from Rapps last week turn out to be as nice as those. Great video Mel they are really fun to watch and sorry to hear about the loss in the 1000.
