No chiller needed. These fish are in a cooler room. My tropicals have to have heaters. Thank you for the comments, love your Giant!!!
my bluegills have lived happily in 80 degree water for two years. they are brightly colored and eat well. should i lower the temp?

If you have a heater going lower the temp gradually. The supposed ideal temp is 65-72 degrees. If you cannot lower the temp, then leave the fish alone.
