Maybe not..the aro hangs on top and this guy would most likley prefer the bottom. I have a 20 inch aro and some 2-4 inch Chichlids mixed and they all seem to work out fine.

I had a 9 inch lima sn and my 24" jardini picked it off after 6 months of being together. The aro also ate a 6 inch tilapia sometime during the night.

Yup as soon as he got in the tank he was swimming around the other fish didn't even faze him and was eating like a pig.
