They had that bi lateral stripe like yours has now, but most of mine seem to lose it when the get big. Depending on mood they sometimes show the stripe again.

Here are the parents, the mother is the more colourful one in the second picture.

Friends estimate the male at 14" the female at 10" tl. I think the male is closer to 12".

They seem to have changed to Paraneetroplus sinspila last fall.
