You are right, Joe. $175.00 for a motoro pup is buy no means cheap. I have no illusions about competing with wild caught rays......it's just not possible. Currently I'm hoping to fill a niche for people specifically wanting captive bred rays. If rays become significantly harder to import in the future, then possibly captive bred prices will be acceptable. Also, if I can build a large enough breeding stock to where I can buy mass quantities of food and other supplies, it will be possible to bring prices down. I'm no where near being that large, but maybe in a few years or so.

Heck, worst case scenario of not selling any pups is still not bad, since I get to keep them. Who could be unhappy about having more rays?
