Lol theres no Flowerhorn in that Parrot. Its just one of the those low quality Blood Parrots that don't have the Parrot mouth and notched head.
The blood parrot came in the same batch as the first pk and in my other thread "newest petsmart red texas" the unfaded bp in those pictures also came in with the other two. So my question is presumably these are all being made by segrest an its there strain so why are these unfaded bp starting to appear in these strains. If you see the bp and supposed "fader pk" on this thread look exactly the same except one has fh body shape and one has bp but they have the same exact markings and coloring.
Ps. To the ones helping. Dont mistake me asking more questions for me doubting you and your knowledge on the matter im just trying to learn and understand myself. To me i dont care what these fish really are i love them just the same. My issues isnt is it a red texas or not anymore i know theyre not my issue is more of uderstanding genetics and strains and how these fish were made so i ask questions. If anyone is getting frustrated then just dont reply but dont reply something harsh like in that other thread. In not doubting your opinions just trying to understand whats going on

Pss the first two fish in this thread (bp and small pk) are not from segrest. They are from a wholesaler in california. Im waiting for someone to get back to me with the name of wholesaler. Fish in my other thread including the one was said that might be a red texas ( based on poor pics though) the bp and the plain gray one came from the same batch came petsmart "warehouse" who get their fish from segrest.

Segrest doesn't breed these, they come from a breeder. I haven't been paying 100% attention so explain which fish is which and what they were bought as and from what store. Its all over the place which is which and I'm rather confused.
Ur confused?! Now im even more lost. This whole time i understood you were saying segrest farms was mking this hybrid. From my understanding. Now theyre brining them in from somewhere else?

I have never said Segrest was breeding these, that was Kaliedoscope who was saying that. They don't breed most or all of their fish, they get them from other sources and sell them to pet stores. They are getting these from a farm either in the US or overseas and then selling them.
So which fish is which, what store did it come from, and what was it purchased as.
