Looks sweet!!

There's one thing I'd consider changing, though. The third small piece of plexi, that looks as though it's suspended mid tank, needs to be positioned a fair bit lower (IMO) to trap any bubbles more effectively.

Just a thought. Nice work, though!!

i think your right, while it was running i was thinking the same thing!

i made it that tall becasue the sponge i am going to put there fits perfecty! i dont think i'll have a bubble problem with the wall and the sponge do you? or should i lower it and use a smaller sponge?

Forgot about the sponge! Oooops. Yes, looking back I can see it, now.

You might run into an issue with the sponge impairing the waterflow, though. I think the flow thru the sponge wouldn't be as fast as it is flowing into the first chamber, and therefore backing up behind it.... I think that's why dudes don't put a sponge in that spot, to keep the flow up to the system. Just a thought.

Why not put the sponge in place and try running water thru again?

i was thinking that as well, but with proper maintainence, i shouldnt have any issues. if that sponge does clog, the water will just flow over the wall and to the pump anyway.
i may not even add the sponge at all and may just bulk up on the pre filter. im also thinking of chnging/adding something to where the water enters to add some sort of mechanical filtration.

looks good
