I recently dropped some coin on a very special arowana...Wes rare fish recently brought in a couple wild caught axanthic? ?? Silver arowanas......we don't really know what they are.....dark surrounding the eye like panda variety but with yellow tinge and almost transparent body......amazing fish to say the least.......either snow white platinum or yellow axanthic or ?????? A Japanese scientist in Peru posted a pic of one saying it's a new discovery he has never seen...... I think Wes only had a couple ....not cheap but pretty neat having an arowana that maybe one of 3 or 4 in the world....he is vendor Rare Fish if interested.....
Eye looks red in pics but not red.....only 3" long

Oh woooow. I might have to go shoot Wes an email.

For dropping some coin are we talking black aro coin or used car coin? lol

Looks fairly normal will just need to see how they turn out to see if the coin was justified

My LFS has same type aro at that size for sale too...only cost $699 ;) Lucky me that I don't have any interest in any fishes called Platinum, Albino...etc. It's rare but not that rare like OP said..I saw them in my exotic LFS at least 1 time a year every year lol

These are not the cheap captive breed albinos that are running around the market for $699......trust me....these are wild caught...first off its definitely not an albino......better to get your facts straight before commenting.....please share the picture of this common aro you speak of......with the dark eye surrounding "panda style" like mine......???????
