New wild baby Temensis from Rio Tapajos

Just got 5 of the small size Temensis P-bass from Rio Tapajos that Rapps had. Luckily they are eating FROZEN food. I hope that I wont have to feed them live ever. Has anyone else ever had pbass that are only like 1.5" eat frozen food, or am I extremely lucky?

yes i have had small p-bass eat frozen it all depends i believe on the level of aggression an the food that u are feeding it..

My 3 small pbass all ate frozen right away. I think what helped get them interested was seeing the geo's start going after the frozed bloodworms first.

You guys are lucky. Mine are 2" and still only accpting live. I hope to get the time and patience to get them to go frozen soon.

I've fed half inch PB with previously frozen bbs. For fish that are an inch and bigger i use frozen brine shrimp.

rapps has a pic up on his wedsite of an adult. They do not look like that now, they just have the solid lateral bar like all baby temensis.
