New wild baby Temensis from Rio Tapajos

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is what one of mine look like. I raise my baby Cichla in greenwater so I had to remove him for the photo. Please excuse my poor photo skillz.

Edit:
The fish are from Lake Maica, which is associated with the Rio Tapajos in Brazil. These are not Cichla temensis, rather they are an undescribed Cichla that we refer to as Cichla sp. "lower Amazonas." In fact, any and all "temensis" from the rios tapajos and tocantins are NOT temensis either....they are ALL this same species as far as we know.

Enjoy,
Brian

your lucky gman. i have 8pcs of them but only 1 is eating frozen food

I got 4 baby Temensis from Rio Tapajos and 2 Cichla ocellaris a couple a days ago. The Temensis are a little skinny. There are eating guppys already, and looking really nice. The Ocellaris are really nice RED EYED. Thanks to Jake at Aquarium Concepts.
Thanks Don
