I love compressiceps! I have a soft spot for them. The only thing I don't like about them is that they take FOREVER to mature. lol. But all in all, they are extremely beautiful fish. Specially designed with hard scales to fit through crevices and snatch young unsuspecting fry for lunch. These and calvuses are beauts to look at.

yeah, I got sick and tired of growing them out and decided to sell the grow-outs and pick up some mature fish. These fish are probably the sole reason I started in the hobby. Saw 'em and I was fascinated. Still more beautiful tan any saltwater fish IMO.

Yes, yes I did. I also picked up a group of Chaitikas, and a few white calvus. fun day all around.

Thanks, they are quite shy so pic opportunities are few and far between.When they do decide to brave it, they are quite stunning.

The male is hard to get pics of, but the female is out pretty much all of the time.
